In the late 1980s, Sensei Jesse Stiff began his journey in Martial Arts under the guidance of his Tachi Master in Oak Park IL. His father, Jesse Sr., a 5th-degree Black belt in Taekwondo, was a constant source of inspiration for him to explore various facets of Martial Arts. In 2009, after two decades of training, Sensei Jesse decided to change his style and started learning under Master Robert M Saindon of Shorei & Goju. After ten years of rigorous practice and dedication, he was awarded his first-degree black belt by Grandmaster Sidney Bennett and Master Robert M. Saindon. Two years later, he earned his second-degree Black Belt.
With over 24 years of experience in Martial Arts and teaching students at his own Dojo with the assistance from Leon Stiff (a first-degree black belt), Sensei Jesse continuously inspires his students to have a clear vision for their life’s path. He emphasizes on having a well-defined plan as without it one may end up wandering aimlessly.
